Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between PageKR (the "Company") and users in connection with HTMLtoSITE (htmltosite.com, the "Service"), the website publishing service the Company operates.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means all website operation tools the Company provides, including HTML editing, site publishing, custom domain connection, AI editing, and inquiry collection.
- "User" means a member who uses the Service under these Terms.
- "Site" means a website a user creates and publishes through the Service.
- "Plan" means a paid subscription product that sets usage limits such as site count, storage, custom domains, and AI usage; "free plan" means the baseline limits available without any payment.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
- These Terms take effect when posted within the Service.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Amendments are announced at least 7 days before the effective date, stating the effective date and the reason; amendments unfavorable to users are announced at least 30 days in advance.
- A user who does not agree to the amended Terms may terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Formation of the Agreement)
- The agreement is formed when the user signs in with a Yave account and uses the Service. These Terms are posted within the Service at all times and can be read before or after signing in.
- A paid plan is charged only where the user has expressly agreed, in the payment flow, to these Terms and to the withdrawal restrictions in Article 8.
- The Company may refuse or defer an application where operationally or technically necessary.
Article 5 (Provision and Change of the Service)
- The Company provides the Service 24 hours a day, year-round, as a general rule.
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, equipment replacement, force majeure, or similar reasons, with prior notice; in urgent cases notice may be given afterwards.
- The Company may change the contents of the Service. Where a paid plan's usage limits are changed unfavorably to users, the Company gives 30 days' notice and users may cancel their subscription within that period.
Article 6 (Paid Service and Payment)
- The products, prices, and usage limits of paid plans are as displayed on the Service's pricing page.
- Payments are processed through YavePay, the payment service designated by the Company. Recurring products renew and are charged each billing cycle until the user cancels.
- The Company notifies the user of an upcoming renewal before the scheduled payment date.
Article 7 (Change and Cancellation of Subscription)
- A user may cancel a subscription at any time and may continue to use the Service until the end of the period already paid for.
- An upgrade to a higher plan takes effect immediately, and the prorated difference for the remaining period is charged immediately.
- A downgrade to a lower plan takes effect from the next renewal after the current billing cycle ends. Mid-cycle partial refunds are not provided.
- Where a downgrade puts a user's site count or storage above the new limits, the Company gives advance notice and lets the user choose which sites to keep.
Article 8 (Withdrawal of Subscription and Refunds)
This Article sets out the criteria for withdrawal of subscription under Article 17 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, and the grounds on which that right is restricted. The Company displays the restrictions in this Article before payment, and a user who proceeds with payment is deemed to have agreed to this Article.
- A user may withdraw a subscription within 7 days from the date of payment.
- However, because the Service constitutes digital content, where provision of the content paid for has commenced, withdrawal is restricted under Article 17(2)5 of the same Act.
- The following acts constitute 'commencement of provision' in this Service. Performing any of them during the subscription period the payment opened means provision of the content paid for has commenced.
(i) publishing (deploying) a site;
(ii) adding a new page or file;
(iii) connecting a custom domain;
(iv) uploading an asset in a format the free plan cannot upload (video, PDF, and the like — images and fonts can be uploaded on the free plan and therefore do not count);
(v) applying AI editing results to a site. - Any other use — editing a draft, autosave, previewing, modifying an existing file, or viewing the dashboard — does not constitute commencement of provision and does not restrict withdrawal. The same applies where publishing failed or was blocked, or where an AI generation was not applied.
- For a payment whose provision has not commenced, the user may request a refund directly (self-service refund) from the YavePay payment history within 24 hours of payment. Points and coupons applied to the payment are restored, and refunding a subscription's initial or renewal payment terminates that subscription immediately.
- Refunds after the period in paragraph 5, or for payments whose provision has commenced, are processed subject to the Company's review. Where the Company is responsible — for defects in or non-performance of the Service — the Company refunds in accordance with applicable law.
- Approved refunds are made, in principle, to the original payment method. Units granted free of charge are not refundable to cash.
- The Company displays the restrictions in this Article on the pricing page and in the payment flow so that users can confirm them before paying.
Article 9 (User Obligations and Content Responsibility)
- Users are responsible for the content of the sites they publish through the Service.
- Users must not publish content that infringes the rights of others or violates applicable law (phishing, malware, illegal information, and the like).
- Users must not interfere with the normal operation of the Service (automated bulk requests, exploitation of vulnerabilities, circumvention of limits, and the like).
- Users may not provide or lend their account credentials to third parties and are responsible for damage arising from their own failure to safeguard the account.
Article 10 (Restriction of Use and Blocking of Sites)
- The Company performs safety scans on published sites and may immediately block serving of a site where malware, phishing, or similar is identified.
- Where a user violates Article 9, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice. In cases of clear illegality or urgent infringement of another's rights, the Company may restrict use immediately.
- A user who objects to a restriction or a site block may present their case through the support channel.
Article 11 (Protection of Personal Information)
- The Company protects users' personal information as required by applicable law; details are governed by the Privacy Policy.
- When a user deletes their account, the Company deletes their personal information and stored content, except where retention is required by law.
- Where a user collects visitors' personal information through their own site, the user is responsible for that collection and use.
Article 12 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not liable for damage arising from force majeure, causes attributable to the user, or failures of third-party services beyond the Company's control.
- The Company does not undertake to back up data users store in the Service; users should keep their own copies of important data.
- Nothing in this Article excludes liability for the Company's intent or gross negligence.
Article 13 (Governing Law and Disputes)
- These Terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Disputes are to be resolved by agreement between the Company and the user as a general rule; failing agreement, a suit may be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
